Whalebone in Action at DNS-OARC

Whalebone representatives attended the OARC 45 Conference, held on October 7–8, 2025, in Stockholm, Sweden, which brought together DNS professionals, researchers, and operators to discuss critical topics in DNS operations and security. The event featured a series of presentations addressing various aspects of DNS infrastructure, challenges, and advancements.

Main topics addressed DNS attacks and defence, DNSSEC automation and management, DNS transport improvements, and monitoring and analytics, emphasising security, resilience, and observability in DNS operations.

Roman Šilhan, Site Reliability Engineer at Whalebone,  had a chance to present a short Lightning talk "Launch of Public DNS4EU service" which informed the audience about the actions needed for the launch of Public service in June as well as the latest statistics and users' experience.
